I don't hate gay people, but i digarsee with the idea of gay sex . The argument was used by some Catholics in my Religous Studies class (i'm a gay atheist but i found the course fascinating). This kind of catholic belif stems from St. Thomas Aquinas' view on Natural Law the foundation of the catholic church. Natural Law comes back from Aristotlian ethics, but Aquinas views it as Humans must do specific things to be Natural , failure to do these things deems you unnatural'.One of these things was procreation, from this came the idea that since sex CAN procreate, it therefore MUST, hence the catholic stance against anti-pregancy things like contraception, and recreational sex as it doesn't serve the purpose. The view is kindof twisted, i claims that any kind of sexual activity that cannot induce pregnancy is unnatural and wrong and THIS (sorry i rambled back there) is why the Catholic churches stance on homosexuality and masturbation is that of Sin .Because they can't impregnate, and therefore are unnatural uses or arousal. You can tell by how long that paragraph is that the view was filtered and twisted before the church ran with it.1st i'd like to say that just because a certain action CAN produce a certain outcome doen't mean it must.Sex CAN get people pregnant, but it doesn't have to (if your religoun rolls with that it does, then why doesn't unprotected sex have a 100% chance of inpregnating you, god was bieng alfully slacky when designing the human reproductive system).Chairs CAN, and are designed to, be sat on. But chairs can also be used put stuff on such as laundry. Chairs with laundry on aren't suddenly unnatural sinning chairs they are just chairs still.
